It wasn't that I couldn't color well that I didn't win the weekly coloring contest in my third grade class. It was that I couldn't color as well as Davey Gordon. In fact, none of us could. As my husband read the Sunday paper earlier this morning, he reported out loud to me the results of the local districts' school report cards as ranked by the state.
